About

Monikangana Dutta is an Indian supermodel who made a name for herself amongst the best in the international fashion world after she won the Metropolitan Top Model Contest of France in 2001 at a very young age and held her own. The win resulted in her shifting base from India to Paris for a period of two years where she walked the ramp for fashion designers like Vivienne Westwood, Yoji Yamamoto, Christian Dior, Leonard, Chloe, Plain Suit and many others. She also went on to model for Mac Cosmetics. She was hailed as an exotic Indian beauty by the international press like the New York Times and did editorials for Vogue, French Vogue, UK’s Tank magazine and the Italian Harper’s Bazaar even as she continued to storm the fashion world at international fashion weeks like Paris Fashion Week, India Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and the Australian Fashion Week.


Despite her beauty and professionalism being lauded the world over, she remains unaffected by the outer ring of fame. On her subsequent return from Paris, she became the most sought after model in India and went on to do television commercials for leading apparel and jewellery brands.


She made her debut in an Indian feature film, Guzaarish on November 19, 2010, as a leading actress, directed by one of Indian cinema’s most artistic and commercially successful directors, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In her very first feature, she acts alongside two other greats of Indian cinema, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan.

The Tactics

We started by designing an Ideogram for Moni's which came out to be a 'Fairy with a Magic Wand'; as Moni is well known for mesmerizing her audience with her personality. Her audience came from all over the globe, therefore Rainsand Mediamax deployed her website with multiple language options. Customized Facebook Fanpage was also activated and regular tasks involving Digital PR and Online Reputation Management were carried out.
