Leslie has lived and worked as a journalist in Afghanistan for the past 5 years with agencies such as UNICEF, Human Rights Watch, and the British and Canadian Embassies. Leslie’s photographs have been published in the Guardian, Sunday Times, The Sun, and other international publications.

Her photos can also be found in an exhibition traveling Europe titled Voices on the Rise: Afghan Women in the Media. She is currently producing and co-directing a documentary on the Afghan Cricket. Out of the Ashes will be shown on BBC in late 2010.
